That is a old pic of the truck. Since then ive black out the headlight added 06 corners black, taking off the step bars and mud flaps.

The reason why I want to do this is cuz the mud flap on the rear ate threw the paint and looks bad.

And steve we will see. Im tight on money right now, im think it should take about 2 full gallons to do that they way I want it.

I believe it's whatever bedliner they sell in a bucket at Walmart. So far it's not fading. Make sure you prep the surface well before you do it though, because I had to help him do it a second time because he didn't prep the surface the right way the first time.

I was thinking about using 60 gritt on a air sander, and then like 2 to 3 coats of adhesion promoter then 2 coats of bedliner , 2 coats of black high gloss paint.

How did you guys prep his truck??

Nothing like that. You'll be good to go if you do what you're planning.

I just fixed the spots that were flaking for him.
