but.. i was wondering about the lights that can fit under the grill? Isnt that possible? I have a 2001 ford ranger xlt step side and I wanted to get two lights for the front of my truck, would I use the Slimlites in redneckstones forum? Or would I use a different kind of lights? And I saw someone say you can place them on the front from a bracket? , Please help i am confuseddddddddd

Ya, redneckstone can tell you everything you need to no about lights...
You should just p.m him and ask him.

I have seen people put light behind the grill, but they have to be no birghter than 55 watts, or they will melt your grill. Im not sure how to mount them tho.
I would just get a wagg bar or a grill guard.
They also make clips that clip on to your bumper and the lights mount off them.

 

OK first off i would like to say sorry that some of the pics on there ARE NOT working i have to fix that still probly look into that tomarrow.

OK you want to mount some lights on the front of your truck. alright am guessing you dont have TONS of cash if you do look into a brush gaurd a center one or a rap around one or one of those nasty safari bars.

first now if you would like to mount the lights using LIGHT TABS intested of a push bar of some sorts stick with a SLIM light because they dont stick out as much and have less of a light hanging over the front of the truck. now for a thread about light tabs.

ok, NOW if you using a push bar its fine to use the less expansive DAYLIGHTER it will fit and work fine. BUT you have to ask yourself. "self! what TYPE of light patter DO i want?????!!!"

Do you want a LONG range light, a FLOOD light or a Driving light. NOW remeber almost 9999999% of kc lights arnt ment for street use.

Yeah that thread is pretty confusing about the Light tabs, im not really sure where they are, i guess my hands are too fat to feel the tabs or something lol. I dont have enough money to get the push bar. Arent they like 300 dollars? So im guessing ill get the slimlites?
