Major problems

Wednesday morning on my way to work hit a drain that go along the street. All of a sudden my radio shut off and the display on my OHC went out

Checked the wires today they were fine checked the fuses and it was blown. Changed it out Radio worked fine for a couple minutes and blew the fuse again.
Changed it out. working like normal now.

Now I have no dash lights. I checked the fuse on them and it was fine not blown.

Also my fog lights wont work the fuse for them is fine also.

Any ideas

Do your brake lights work also?

Mine did what your describing, but it was the fuse under the hood that was blowing.

I had too much stuff running off that curcuit, I had to re wire my dash lights with a heavier gauge wire.

The fog lights don't work because you blew the fuse that gives power to the fog light switch too. Is your HVAC out also?

Alright will check it

Any ideas why the radio fuse went?

Forgot to mention while the radio wasn't working the wipers didn't work either. In my manual it didn't say anything of them being the same fuse.

Anyone got other suggestions?

Check with a multi-meter, see if you are getting power TO and FROM the fuses, it's a PITA but elimnates anythign else. I had a similar problem where I had no dash action at all (gauges nothing worked) and it ended up being one of the positive wires on the battery terminal...

I've also had the same problem with the starter,....battery terminal wire loose

You can physically see if the fuse is blown, look at the connection ring through the glass.

In your manual what number does it say the dash lights are?
