Finally used my truck... as a truck

Nothing too serious but I've been itching to actually use my truck as it was made to be used... not just drive it to work.

First I pulled my parts car out to get it ready to sell...

Then picked up my new toy...

And finally got it muddy... :D

interesting new toy!

...there seems to be some minor drivetrain issues, yet to overcome...

There is one in there... not much good for anything right now though.
Even if it did run, I'd probably still pull it with my truck just for fun... haha

Even if I did put different ones on my truck... I think I'd keep them. I'm thinking about putting something else on for the winter to save them from the salt.

I have a set of 15" steelies but the tires on them are way too small for the truck. I had them on my '97 2wd.

The parts car isn't a 5.0... my other one is though :D
I bought the car for the black interior to put in my GT... but never got around to it.. other things came up and it's sitting at my sister's place who is moving at the end of the month so it's gotta go. If any of you know someone in the area who may be interested...please let me know. The only thing that is missing from the car is the ac/heater control panel. That's all I got parted out from it before I found out the whole thing has to go. I'm looking for something in the area of $650 for the whole car.

Head gaskets are out of it... so it's a big enough job. Body is in awesome shape, underside could be better, as its 13 years old and it looks like it's seen all 13 of those winters.

haha
There's someone who's supposed to be coming to see it this afternoon... but who knows, good ol' Kijiji... 90% idiots 10% normal people..
I've had so many no shows with my other stuff for sale... what makes it worse is I'm on the other side of the city from where the car is stored.

I've finally overcome those drivetrain issues... lol fixed up the welds and put a seat on it... now it just needs paint! It was way too much fun last weekend until the pull cord broke...
