so i was just looking around idk if anyone else posted this but heres the new concept i know that ugly 2010 might come out but i think thats just a euro version i think this might be the new ranger

Ford Motor Co. announced recently that it will be building a smaller truck based on the F-150 platform. Not much is known except that the truck will slot below the F-150 in Ford’s truck lineup. The new truck, code named P525, will be built on the existing F-150 platform and should prove to be the replacement for the archaic Ranger small truck. The pickup will be scheduled for production in 2011. It will be built at Ford’s Michigan plant and should prove to be a real money maker for Ford. We will keep you updated as more news comes in.

I dunno that looks pretty euro to me as well. I expect to see something that looks similar to the f150/f250 for the new body style.

 

this was the euro ugly one i was talking about i was reading posts and this truck was showed at the euro concept cars/trucks shows

Wait for what? Ford isn't going to put a V8 in a Ranger. How many years have people been asking for a V8. What for anyway? A F150 with a 5.4 V8 gets the same mileage as 4.0 Ranger and is only a bit more than a Ranger.

 

i ment will see what the ranger is going to look like

in a lighter truck the 5.4 would get even better gas mileage

 

They never have and never will put a V8 in a Ranger.

 

Wasn't that their concept a few years ago? I think it looks too much like a Frontier... I love my truck the way it is!! hehe

 

You are correct and it still looks pretty small to me, looks about the same size as our trucks now...I think the pic is wrong.

 

As long as it doesn't look like the Thai Ranger, a Frontier, a Tacoma, or that POS from Tata Motors im fine.
