My brother and i went to the local pull-a-part today and got some coil springs from an E-150. They netted about 4-4.5 inches after we got em on tonight. Is this too much lift for the beam suspension? I have no clue about this type of suspension. Also instead of leaning in they are leaning out now, which i understand. But how would i go about correcting this at least for now till i can get around to getting an alignment.

If you got that much lift, you DESPIRATELY NEED either new beams or beam drop brackets to fix that camber. There's no other way to fix it. Your tires are like this right now: \----/ correct?

There's 6" lifts out there for the Beam suspension...but all incorporate drop brackets and taller coils.

That's cool you can do those coils on that year truck, but like the others have said, you need to get the drop brackets or new beams man.

There is a reason everyone pays for lift kits instead of just swapping coils, lol.
You need some drop brackets atleast, and longer shocks.

 

I like my mud kings... they were cheap and they wear pretty well for the price of them... I probably have 10,000 miles on them and they have done good off road too...

I put f-150(same thing as an e-150 as far as spring height) and I got 2 inches of lift if I'm lucky.

Just grab a set of 3.5 degree camber bushings and do a little grinding on the spindle and inside the upper part of the C section of the I-beam so the pinch bolt and upper ball joint socket will clear the spindle and i-beam. Thats the only reason 2wd can't exceed more then 2 degrees camber. The bolt head hits the spindle from lock to lock and reduces your turning radius.

 

Bent beams will help you too. Bad camber is a problem. How does she drive?

 

Looks good lifted up, but you definitely need to do as the others have said.

 

looks like you need drop brackets for the beams and radius arms, probably longer shocks, maybe a drop pitman arm...
