Pics! NHRA Supernationals

My hubby and another couple went to the NHRA Supernationals yesterday at Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey. Thought there might be some NHRA fans on here. Enjoy the pics!

Great pics Brenda! I'm planning on going to all 3 days of the Mopar Mile Hign Nationals in I guess it's 4 weeks from now. Love the memorial hood.

Thanks! Its the first time I've been in like...wow...15 years!!! hehehe It was a lot of fun, especially back in the pits trying to get pics of drivers. And yeah, I'm with ya on the memorial hood. If there were less people around, could have gotten the whole car.

Hopefully they have it up here so I can snag some good pics of it to pass on to ya.

You know Melanie Troxel is a local from here. She grew up in the Morrison/Littleton area of Denver, not far from Bandimere Speedway. My boss actually went to school with her brother's.

My dad is a good friend and old drag racing buddy of Dick Venables, father of Dickie Venables, crew chief of Tony Pedregon. We used to take our vehicles to their brake/alignment shop before they closed it down and demolished it.

His dad has this bad@$$ PT cruiser...sucks they had to close the shop, they did excellent work there, and all of it was honest.

Thats pretty cool. I like Melanie. Funny thing, we were on our way out when I managed to snag her kodak moment!

Yeah I met her briefly last year at MHN. Also got a chance to meet Gary Scelzi before he called it quits, and Tim Wilkerson, who is cool as hell... he won MHN last year, and gave my buddy's ex the Powerade Champion's hat off his head
