There isn't many (or any at all) lowering kits for torsion bar Rangers. All the kits I have seen are for coiled trucks.

i havent found them yet but i was told that in order to do that on the sports you would have to convert the front suspension over to coil suspension. or if you have the money buy the front and rear air ride suspension kits for your truck.

Apparently nobody thought to ask. Is it a reg cab or a excab? If its regcab you have coils if its excab you have tbars.

its an excab. im thinkin i may just scrap lowering at all. im lookin for air suspension rt now, but those seem pricier than suspension lifts. i may end up goin higher. one or the other, stock is not an option.

Since 08+ T-bar models are an inch lower then the pre-07 counterparts, that saves you an inch :)

Torsion Bars don't like being lowered all that well. Trust me, I've been searching to do it on mine. Essentially, what my conclusion has been is that the Rear can always be lowered. There are all sorts of options.

The front is the main problem with T-Bar type trucks. I think the best solution would be probably doing a Coil or Coilover conversion, but even then after you do that you'd have to alter your Control Arms to accomadate the lowered ride height. Not sure if you could hack together bits and pieces of like a DJM 4/5 kit to do this or not. I may investigate later on, but for now, I'm happy with where my Sport sits.
