Icon9 Im Nervous today

So my sister wrecked her car twice in 3 months most recently she destroyed the hole front end. so i took it to repair i had to get her: a new hood' new front bumper, new radiator and supports and put that all together and now im setting up to paint it and she needs a car for just every day stuff and shes useing my truck with 99842 miles on it so i dont get to see it turn over and i dont exactly trust her track record

Its your sister man... I'm sure the truck will be fine. I'm sure you rather have a family memeber drive it then a friend. I'd hope...

im not afraid of her driving it its more the parking the truck is much bigger than her little Mazda protage' and thats how she tore up her hole drivers side and she took off a mirror with her mail box before.and most of my friends drive full sized trucks so they totally go first

i dont have a brother or sister to even worry about that lol defiantly not gonna let my mom drive anywhere in my truck (even though the trucks in her name at the moment) and my dad tends to break stuff when he drives it. girlfriend said she wants to drive it and...... that's scary.

I wouldn't let her anywhere near my vehicle. Tell her to rent a Geo Metro or something.

I let my Brother in law borrow my truck one day. Came back with the whole side of the bed crushed in.

I don't let any body drive my truck except my dad, and he's the only one. I let my little brother drive it to school one day and he scratched it and the whole time during school he left the doors unlocked. I know cause I had to bring his backpack to him and I noticed the truck just sitting their waiting to be stole. yeah I was mad and he hasn't drove it again, so the best thing to do is give her some money to rent a car hehe, js/k nothing wrong with helping family.

I don't let people drive my truck (other than my dad) unless I'm sitting in that passenger seat making sure they don't do anything stupid. I can't afford my clutch melting to the flywheel or someone destroying my transmission.

Thats funny. I could see that too. Flying down the shoulder of the freeway lol.

But I dont care who drives my truck. I really don't have that issue because my truck is a 5 speed lol. But I had to teach my lady how to drive stick....it was more fun than I thought. Now every time I get drunk at the bar, shes only a call away from driving stick all the way home.

The only one who cannot touch my truck is my mom. No ****ing way. I can't even be in the same car with her driving.

I dont trust anyone with my truck. So much money and time and love i put into that machine. Im always trying to find the parking spot the furthest away from everyone. And NEVER park next to a busted up vehicle.. the newer the more expensive cars only. yes i have let otheres drives it (3, friend (Busted up my wheel bearings on my quad on the highway, i drove it into the woods and gave him my keys to get my truck so we could load it up), mom (when i got my motorcycle she drove it 10km and i though it was too much, Dad (well hes cool)), but as you can see, i didnt really have a choice on most occations.

Theres just soo much that can go wrong on public streets, ex: i was looking for a parking spot at the mall and there was this kid taking all the baskets and a few of them started rolling away and coming towards my passenger side rear end, i just slammed on the gas and they missed me.

if i let someone drive my truck im going to have more then enough confidence they wont trash it, but it doesnt change the fact that i dont trust the rest of the people on the road. so thats why i rather not take the chance.

I thought it would be fine to let my younger brother move my truck in the driveway one day, (since he drives an '08 Diesel SuperDuty).

However, the pattern in his truck has reverse all the way left and up, while reverse in my Ranger is all the way right and back.

Luckily he didn't hit the garage door that hard. No damage to my Ranger, but a nice dent in the door.

HAH!

Ironically, my mom is the ONLY person I've ever driven with that had my feet pushed to the floor, and both hands gripping the seat wondering if its the "next corner" we are going to die!

-laughs- Scary! Only on highway and freeway driving.. in town I dont mind so much =)
