New mod made me shake with excitement

So this weekend I finally installed a couple new items. I'll let the pics do the talkin.

Tried to hide the horns. Didn't finish the box that covers them, because I was impatient. Maybe I'll do it after I've had some fun.

Again, hid the tank and compressor in my new tool box.

Going with the theme of hiding the horn system, I fabbed a plate in the ash tray to hide the switches too.

Yes, it's the Shocker 240XL kit from hornblasters.com

it's mainly to scare people and watch them get pissed. My 2 year old niece loves trains so I can't wait for her to play with it.

It's loud, annoying, and fun!

Thanks for the comments guys.

yes, you can and will get a ticket if you use train horns. there is no need for them. a truck is not a train and does not weigh 6000 tons and does not take 1/2 mile to come to a stop when going 60 mph.

Doesn't matter what size object it's on. If people aren't suspecting a blast, it scares them no matter what. And btw nothing is illegal unless you get caught.

Nice, nice mounting job too. The only thing I would recommend you doing is changing the air line from the spiller to the horns so that all of the hoses are equal length. Right now you might have the horns come on in like a sequential order instead of all at once, if that makes sense. But def post a vid!

HAHAHA. Yeah, I read the instructions after installing the horn lines, but they all go off at the same time luckily.

I like how you mounted the solenoid with a zip tie lol. Cool deal, I wish they weren't so expensive.

Yeah, it doesn't have a bracket or any holes to mount it and I was too impatient to make anything. So, zip ties were the easiest thing.

I'll get a vid up as soon as I can figure it out on the camera and how to upload it. I'm at work now, so it'll have to wait a little while.

I've never tried putting wood in there. It's actually an aftermarket bed I think. It's completely fiberglass, and it doesn't say Ford on it anywhere.

Videos don't do any justice as to how loud a train horn actually is, but here's the one I just took on my digital camera.
