diy short ram intake

hey guys anyone know how to make a shortram intake ?

check truckin's build up on the cheap truck ranger they did
made themselves a lil intake from local auto part parts....kinda makes me wanna do one for my mazda since i cant find another roush box....

thanks alot man hey i was wondering you think its possible just to attach a cone filter right into the pvc pipe that would be a instant intake

uh...prolly with an adapter of some sort...just to keep it from floppin around everywhere

definitely possible though, seeing as my rangers roush kit uses a k&n filter to an adapter to the intake pipe...i think

but i feel like im forgettting where the sensor went...lol

thankyou for the pics shane :D

now i know for a fact that you WOULD need an adapter like the roush box uses, because if you were to use the stock hardware, there would be no other way to really bolt up a cone to the MAF sensor thingy

Yuppers. Both Rogue and Underdog(stuffforyourranger.com) carry cone adaptors. I've seen a few on the eBay as well. I know I've got a spare...for some reason my Roush box came with two adaptors.
