im lookin into gettin tires in a few months, but am unsure of where to buy. im keepin stock wheels so its gonna be local. im lookin into the 305/65/18 bfg AT and was wonderin if you think that the ford dealer would be cheaper than a regular tire shop. and if theres another tire youd suggest. this is for an f150 fx4 btw. lol
I ordered my last set through Tire Rack. Shipping wasn't bad and there was no tax. Good prices and customer service. Also, Discount Tire Direct always has free shipping and decent prices as well.
Dealers are usually always a rip. They might get a good deal but they'll rape you on the price. Go there and ask or call them and see that way you'll know for sure how cheap/expensive the dealer is.
yea, thats what ill prolly do when the time comes. i think i figured out how im gonna get my tires. i get 2 weeks vacation a yr. what days we dont use we get paid for. ive got 10 days left and only plan on takin 6 or 7 more more days which lefts 3-4 days left that id get paid for. so 32hrs times 11.75=$376. that would more than double the check. so i could use that to get the tires! lol. or tax time
yea. that price for the graps was from the place i bought wheels/tires from for the ranger. id rather not go through them though bc theyre Fn idiots. i havnt been to the other place in town to price yet but i have priced there in the past. raben tire wanted like 170-180 a tire for 33x12.50x15 mfg ats and the other place i actually bought tires wanted 200 for the same tire. (i didnt get bfgs so thats why i went to the other place).
