Ah I'm jealous. I'll be down at Emerald Isle this weekend for a wedding, no beach driving though :(

We saw the Mustangs when we were on some beach in NC haha.. kinda lame if you ask me, everyone goes to see them and they just kinda walk on by lol

ill be there saturday if you see a horse hit it i hate those damn things they s*hit in the sand and you dont see it till you run over it, and btw im betting those storms going through right now are pretty awsome hope you dont get stuck having to drive up by the dunes.......

we headed up to Corolla and drove out on the beach! the Ranger did great! for my first time really ever using 4x4, i did great! i think it was more of the truck than it was me; the truck really did do great! She didnt even falter!

didnt get to see the mustangs, but it was a great trip anyways!

There was on the way up, but there was a storm a brewing, as soon as i got back to the entracne, the bottom dropped out, It was a great trip though. TOOK FOREVER to find Air for the tired though (i aired down)

i couldnt find any in duck or corolla! i just drove slowly back to kitty hawk and got it there! i had to drive with 18 psi in all my tires!! not too bad since the speed limit is only 35, but still, there ought to be a place for air closer!!! We stopped at all three gas stations and i didnt see any air!! i was pissed! plus it was like rush hour in corolla! i loved it bc you had so much beach to drive on!

I only seen two ther Rangers out there; mostly full sizes and jeeps, and a few toyotas. I seen like a 99 model ranger some old man i passed was driving. Then i seen a 2008, but it was leaving at one of the exits... i would like to have gotten pics with the 08'. i only seen two people get stuck, a suburban and an expedition...

man i want to go back, but we're packin to leave right now!

 

18 psi is nothing. you can drive on that all day.

id run 65-70 across the sand with 4psi in the tires.

you an even run on the road with 5-10 at 35 40 mph no problem.

 

Haha there is a air pump right at the gas station on the right with the burger king it's slow but works

A chick I'm friends with asked me to take 2 days of vacation so that we could drive down to Myrtle beach for a 4 day weekend vacation. I was kind of surprised she asked me and whatnot, not sure what to think, but I said HELL YEAH. Lol. I just want to get away, and make it outside of Ohio, Indiana, and West Virginia this year. No idea when we will go.

 

Hah, yeah. I know I have driven my Ranger home on windy mountain highways at 65+ with no sway bars and 18psi or less in my tires, no problem.

 

Maybe her boyfriend just doesn't have a car?

 

LOL, that could be a possibility......... IF she had a boyfriend! Haha
