Help with ac mod 2007 wiring is different
Hey guys just trying to wire an ac bypass switch in my truck and was following the how to guide and ran into a snag
the guide describes the wire to ne cut is the purple one on the top of the connector... My violet wire is on the bottom of it so do I ignore colors and just cut the top wire or stick with the violet
I have a 2007 level ii so I think the wiring has changed since the guide was done

You throw a switch onto the A/C demand wire which tells the A/C compressor to turn on. That way when you are getting the freeway or something you can turn off the compressor but still circulate the air in the truck.
As with almost all V6 Rangers, when you turn the A/C on, your truck turns into a 4 banger, lol.

Ya, I would do that mod, only something is unplugged in my driver side door and when I open it I get no lights or door dinger. Lol. It's awesome!
You want a cool mod? How about my F350 battery mod! Pics comming tomorrow!!!!

Rangers shut the A/C off at WOT the same way. The advantage of adding the switch is that you have the option to turn the A/C off all the time in all selector positions if desired.
