I was wondering..have any of you guys dragged? If so then what was your time? What engine and rear end did you have? I'm thinking on turning my 86 into a dragger but want some opinions first. I was thinking a 351, auto, and a pos track rear. What do you guys think?

 

I had an S10 with a LT1 and the 4L60E auto trans with the stock S10 rear end with 4.11's and welded spiders. It ran a horrible 14.1 in the quarter. It was horrible with wheel hop and traction. I couldn't complain for $2,000.

 

Not my Ranger, but the chevy, yes. The time is so hideous, I am not posting it. lol. Damn 305's and SM465's w/ 25" tires!

 

There's your problem! My buddy at the shop just rebuilt a 305 and he thinks it's going to be hot ****...

 

Correction....damn 305. Then it was a hot 400, then it turned into damn SM465. lol.
