magnaflow exhaust

Im lookin into gettin a exhaust system, heard alot of good things about magnaflow, but when i went on their website this is wat i saw

2001 V6 4.0L Extended Cab Pickup, GAS; excl. Edge and Sport
5 x 8 x 18 in. Muffler, 2.5 in. Tubing, 3.5 in. Tip; SINGLE REAR SIDE EXIT, EXCL. EDGE MODELS 15679 $586.81

2001 V6 4.0L Extended Cab Pickup, GAS; excl. Edge and Sport
5 x 8 x 18 in. Muffler, 2.5 in. Tubing, 3 in. Tip; DUAL SPLIT REAR EXIT, EXC. EDGE MODELS 15773 $733.52

im assuming the exc. means excluding
so my question is, what exhaust system would i get?

it fits the edges fine, there are no power-train differences between the two models so yes they will fit fine.

also most of us just but a universal muffler and have it put on locally. those are some pretty steep prices for kits.

You coud buy the kit, but it will most likely be more money than having a shop put a system in.

I guess ill put my input on this. I bought the magnaflow kit. Didnt pay that price. I payed like 500 for duals at summit. 3 months after i put it on i started changing mufflers. Personally I dont think the magna gives a good sound for our trucks. Go to an exhaust shop. Youll save yourself a bunch of money and it will be done how you want it.

I got the dual kit for 350 off craigslist. I think the muffler gives a good tone to the truck.
