marine horn

a lot of us have air horns. i was turned away from buying one cause they were so expensive and also you had to invest in onboard air, and other things. i simply dont have room in my cab for that. so i was looking around the net, and found this

THE PERSUADER boat horn, marine horn, wolo 110 WoloHornsUSA.com

its a 12v horn, so no need for air. any thoughts on this? it says 115bd. but i really doubt that it is.

Waste of money IMO. Take that money and put it into onboard air and real air horns. You have the room, you just have to be more creative with Rangers.

well, youve got at least a 6 foot bed to stick a compressor in! Not sure what you mean by not having enough room

people in my neighborhood like to steal. and also i dont wanna blow a lot of money. i just wanted something simple and good for the price. im not too worried about how loud it would be. something close range that would scare people about 10 yards away from me.

You won't find anything "good" at that price. If you want a loud horn, you're honestly going to have to save a few paychecks.

It's not hard to hide stuff like I said. Just bolt things places people can't get to easily, and use different sized bolts if you're that worried....

I bought a tool box for the compressor and tank to lock/hide in and fabbed a box for the horns so nobody can get to them.

i would hit up canadian tire or something like that, buy one of the cheap compressor/airhorn kits (no tank) and just toss the cheap horns, use the compressor it comes with

That sounds bad and theres alot of places to mount the compressor and tank. You can either put it in the bed or be fancy and tuck it under neigh the truck.
