Hello again guys,
Figured i would ask the question this way.
I am Looking at putting 30x9.50/15R All terrains on my truck it has the standard 3.73 in the rear and i am wondering is that going to work?
This is going on a 2008 XL Ranger 2WD 2.3Duratech 5 Speed.

they'll fit ok. i got some firestones on my truck and really like em so far. but BFG is always the go-to for an a/t tire. You should think about getting a rearend with a different ratio. 4.10 should be good for 30's. you can live with the 3.73 gearing especially if you've got an automatic but it will be a dog.
Go with either the general grabbers or the BFGs... I think I'm gonna pick up the Grabbers this week myself for my 15" alcoas. They're about $50 less a tire (in a 31X10.50). The Grabbers have justabout the exact same tread pattern and have really good reviews. I asked this same question.
im saying as in need a tough tire so you wont put a stick thought the side wall or cut it something like that.
Thanks Guys again I had to buy a set of tires yesterday not sure how i got a flata tire and broke a belt inside the tire but i replaced them with the BFG's 30x9.5/15 AT's Looks like a truck to me now. WIll post pics soon if ya all dont mind.
and i wouldnt think your MPG would change very much at all, if any..
I have the BFG A/T. They're alright, but not my favorite. More than likely I won't get them again. They look good, and perform well, but have a rougher ride than I think they should have. Personally I like the Mastercraft Courser A/T. They are quiet, handle well and do pretty well in everything I've taken them through so they get my recomendation.
Glad to hear that you had no issues in the snow. We got alot last year and im hoping not to see that much again but i am well prepared now if we do.
the stocks are 27.3" tall so yes you gained about an inch of lift. and since the 30's put the rear end at like a 3.40 i think you will notice the 2.3 tryin to pull the 2 tons of truck and using more gas
