Need help with some rims..
DSG Alcoa deal fell through and not to happy about it..
Now i am looking into some M/T Classic Locks painted black with a DSG rings.
The truck:

The rims:

15" with 3.75 backspacing. Anyone else have any idea's? The truck will be lifted by 3" soon with custom bumpers/rollbar so i'm going for the offroad look

Nooooooo! That sucks about the DSG Alcoas. I think the classic locks would look great though. Just make sure you keep your other wheels and tires for winter. I know some people have problems with their Classic II's in the winter with the finish and stuff but I'm not sure how they would hold up with paint.

No i haven not ordered them yet, and 3" spindle lift with shackles.
And yeah these wheels will never see winter. I'm going to paint my current rims black when they come off and mount snow tires on them.

Why not get those limited edition clasics? Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels
i think black or dsg would look good on your truck but id get something without as much maintenance as the classic II's. if i had the money or could get decent money out of mine id get some teflon coated American racing atx's.

if you're so amped on painting, get some new wheels and look into getting them powdercoated. can't go wrong with that. and its usually 40ish bucks a wheel. well worth it for the extra protection it provides.
