I hate bad drivers

Sitting in standstill traffic this kid plows into the back of me going 30-40 mph and pushes me into the guy in front of me. They say my truck has to be totalled b/c the frame is bent pretty bad. I'm really pissed off b/c the truck is paid for, has another 150K miles left in her and there's no way I'll get enough to get a new car. The amount I get will probably be enough for a really used car that I have no idea how well taken care of it has been. The kid that ran into me didn't even apologize. Here are some pics.

Sucks man. I'm glad to see that you are ok though. You might be surprised at what you get for the truck. Actually I'm kind of jealous. Why can't anyone rear end my truck so it gets totaled?

It was a pos 94 Nissan Sentra. My truck definately won, I pulled off the interstate fine and the tow truck driver drove it up the ramp of his truck, if it wasn't for the rear fender sitting on my back wheels, I would have driven i home. He had to get a tow truck cause it wouldn't move, the entire front was smashed in to the cabin area, its a miracle he walked away.

Thanks for all the well wishes. Besides a sore back and neck, I'm fine which is what's important.

At least the truck did what it was supposed to do (protect you).

Did you go to a doctor? After a wreck like that you might not hurt now, but in a day or two it could get bad. Go make sure you don't have any whiplash, etc.

The insurance is gonna look in the local classifieds such as autotrader and other similar sites (probably not Craigslist) to get an idea of the fair market value for your truck. That will then help determine what they will give you for your truck.
So if i was you, keep an eye out and see what similar trucks are going for.

they are gonna go off of similar trucks that have ads placed for them. To determine what yours is worth.

So...I did the Sport Trac mod. I know it's no longer an RBV, but I still love it. It's an '07 V8 Limited, 2WD. I miss my Ranger (RIP), but I'm getting married soon and needed a little more room anyway.

Here are some pics

The only thing I don't like is the ground clearance, but I've got a 60 mile commute (1-way) anyway and if I want to go wheelin, my buddy just dropped a 350 into an old International Scout.

Oh, and 2 days before my accident I ordered the turn-signal mirrors that fit 02-04 Rangers. If anybody local is interested (I've never sold anything online) let me know. They're brand new, I haven't even taken the protective wrapping off the mirrors, they're just sitting in the box they were shipped in. I'd like to recover as much money as possible and with shipping they were $50.00 I might let them go for $40 which is cheaper than if you were to buy them from Roush. Thanks.

It's these mirrors, btw... http://www.hillbankmotorsports.com/1...7ud5bdil92j362
