1996 Ford Ranger XLT, 239K miles and still running great!

Hi, I'm new here. I figured I should show off my 1996 Ford Ranger XLT. It is a regular cab, short bed, 2WD, automatic and has 239k miles! Not everyone's ideal truck but I love it.

I bought it August 2011 for $1700, rust free. Only problem is that I live in Tennessee and it was about 95 degrees and the heater was stuck on full blast, it sucked. But I have put a lot of work into it. New heater core, fixed fuel leak, cleaned out throttle body(it had tons of carbon build up), gutted interior to clean it easier, got a working radio, painted the grill black, new spark plug harness, new headlights, new bulbs all around, took off 5% tint(would've kept it but cop friend was being an *** and said he'd ticket me if he saw me driving around with it on), and a bunch of other things too.

DO NOT get Uniroyal Liberator A/T unless you mind a lot of road noise. They came on the truck and once I hit about 25 I hear rrrrrrrrr.

Onto the photos!

I'm not sure lol. He is an *******. I am going to remove the stripe sometime, it's peeling but leaving adhesives behind.. Might get some blue or green pin stripe from autozone and do it myself until I get my truck painted.Oh and it is a 2.3L I-4, 112 hp of raging fury!

I plan on doing a twin turbo V6 swap and lower it down on some American Racing Nova 18x9 wheels, bazooka sub, some kind of amp in the passenger airbag compartment(no pass. airbag came with it, and I'm no genius on amps), K&N intake, LED tail lights, HID's, Roush roll pan, 35% tint, LED strips in bed, LED license plate lights, and after trying to remember all of this my mind has gone blank haha. I'll try and remember later on.

Three more pics, on of the interior when we bought it, one of the fog lights on during the day, and one of the Sony radio and fog light switch.

Oh, and I'd like you all to know I got the radio, and the toolbox for $160 from a friend. I saw the radio at Wal-Mart and it was $140.

You can change out the middle console that has the radio in it. so you can have stock fog light switch. mine has two stock fog light switchs and two cig lighters.
