Gave Dads truck a thorough detail last weekend. Its an '03 F150 FX4 with about 115,000 miles. Looks and runs good as new, nice truck! Even underneath is still clean and black.

Intaial de-scumming....hasn't been waxed in about 2 years..

Thanks...yea, its not too bad for a 10 year old. Its been pretty well taken care of since new.

my brother has a 03 fx4 4.6 has 107,000 on it, its as clean as it came off the showroom floor. 4.6 may be a dog but it runs strong and takes the abuse.

 

Haven't had any experience with a 4.6. I know this 5.4 runs pretty well although it is a gas hog. It still has factory exhaust and a simple mileage tune plus the K&N intake which really does nothing, just looks pretty. Lol. It was a $25 salvage yard find I grabbed up when I was looking for other parts one day at a u-pull. Cleaned it all up, gave it to dad and he put it on.

Tried to trade him my Ranger a few times but he won't go for it....haha. Thats ok though because my Ranger only has 63k on it and fits in the garage way easier.

 

yeah his is the 4.6 fx4 has a single out flowmaster, edge tuner, k&N intake, the 4.6 doesnt do to bad on gas with the 373 rear end. but its not enough motor for the size of the truck. my brother has another baby on the way and i keep telling hime that he needs a new truck, i keep telling i want his . ill try and get a pic of his tomorrow
