New wheels!

Picked up a set of Eagle 137's this weekend for cheap and have been working to restore them. Figured I would post up a few pictures. They all had ward water spotting and lots of corrosion. pulled all the bolts out of the fake bead locks to make sanding easier.

this was the best of the wheels,

after cleaning and wet sanding,

and last but not least, teaser

should be 2-3 weeks before they are done with new tires and on the truck.

anybody want to buy a set of 4305/70 16 procomp xterrains with 30% tread?

Did you paint them in your house? And, have dirty tires and wheels in there too? Looking good though.

Working in a 1 bedroom apartment has is challenges lol. No I did all the painting outside and the tires are in the small storage area I have outside. Just had to bring the wheels inside for the night.

First one done! I am excited. Anyone have experience clear coating aluminum wheels to seal them and protect them form corroding again?

Looks good. I haven't had good luck clear coating wheels. The clear coat always ends up failing.
