And I thought you replaced the Grille with an STX Grille, me bad… LoL.
The Mount is not my favorite type or place, chips paint yes but the transmission pattern will be more towards the rear of the vehicle, also the hood pinches the coax, the grounding connection is not the best and tuning will be a ***** and it has to be tuned for low SWR for best results.
Some like it there, so if it works for you good luck with it.
What stud did you buy, hopefully not the FireRing Connection from FireStik ?
Get a stud mount that used Ring Lugs, the easiest, and best matched for a 50 ohm Coax.
Also, buy good coax, not Rat Shaq stuff, it will make a difference.

The mount may not move on its mounting but the thing is only made out of 0.062 S/S.
With a 3 foot Stik on it and traveling down the road at 65 it is going to move, can’t do anything but.
Does it have clearance enough so the paint will survive, only time will tell, every install is a little different.
I am not saying it is a bad mount but NOT MOVE, it has to, how much is the thing.
The Fire Ring works but it ned a little ore care than standard type connectors do.
Double check where the coax goes in the engine bay, that is where the pinching will happen if it is going to.
Good luck with the setup, get it tuned...
