I'd been through this trail back in 03 or 04. The last time I was there I got a chuckle out of this sign...



This time I opted to not off-road much as I was out there for other reasons that off-roading. But I did get this shot...



This is where the "Highway 52 close to 3 miles <-- that way" takes you.

that picture reminds me of one of mine.. the way the background is setup it just looks fake.. but its just that awesome

 

If I had a tripod with me I would have exposed for the current pic, then exposed for the sky so it wasn't a blown highlight (like it currently is). Then I could have merged the 2 images together and not make it appear so "staged".

Trigger, I don't have any other images. I took some back the last time I was there, but I was in my best friend's brother's F-250. Even then I still didn't get many photos. What I REALLY wish is that I could do these little excursions with more people so we have multiple people getting shots. Only down side is that I only have Mondays and Tuesdays off and the few people I know here that off-road have the weekends off.

Those wondering, the trail actually runs through the box canyon and where I'm parked in the shot is where you'd exit, or enter, depending on how you take the trail.
