wrong lol came on the 97 gt's. They are the same design as the 96-98 cobra wheels. The only difference is these are painted silver. the cobras are machined.

wrong
these are the earliest cobras i know of that look similar ... his are indeed v6 rims
Edit: I see the confusion .... the ones he has dont have the holes in the center caps for the lug nuts which the cobras do .... so they came on gt's i retract my earlier v6 statement but they still arent cobras

please show pics of the v6 those came on?? i cant for the life of me think of where else they came from, take into account those wheels havent been taken care of so they very well may have been polished up and black paint means nothing, plus i dont see ford putting 17 inch rims on a v6 car.......those are cobras

look like 94 95 cobras. they didnt start the ''machined look''(its a finish technique not really machined)until 96 97 . those years had the black inserts as well. most 98s came with the cobra r looking wheel but werent real cobra r's. the real cobra r's were a ffrp wheel you could order, or buy the very rare 1995 ''cobra r'' and they came on that car.
im willing to bet those wheels in the pic came off a 5.0 cobra. only 94-95.
