well i finally had time to throw my black headlights on my truck.... took all of 20 seconds to swap out my stock headlights for the black ones. fortunately it was a lot easier than i was expecting...

here's a couple of pics.... the damn glare makes it hard to even notice the headlights are black, lol... oh well.. until i get a day to take some good pics, these will have to do!





tomorrow afternoon i'll be getting some silver star turn signal bulbs so i dont have those ugly amber bulbs anymore.


now i need to do something with the fog lights...

haha. next time i have a cheese steak ill take a pic and post it for ya... then ill take a pic of the empty plate, lol. more than likely it'll be 3 in the morning though so i can't garuntee the pics to be any good, lol.

and you're missing out at wawa... they have new sandwiches called Chibatta's.... i could live off them forever... unfortunately they seem like they're a limited time thing. they've been out since i think last fall.. maybe even earlier than that. i usually go to wawa after the bars close and get 2 chibatta's... then wake up the next morning and find out i only ate one, and the other one is now no good since it sat out all night on the table next to my bed, lol. so.. even though i basically pay double just to eat one sandwhich, they're still worth it, lol.

lol.... funny you should say that! i put an Eagles decal on the back window the day i bought the truck, lol. had i known how badly last season was going to be, i might have held off until next season, lol.

 

could be worse...you could have a Detroit one lol

 

oh but i do... it's on the tread of my tire, lol.

nothing is final yet, but i'm thinking of doing a black/chrome westin bull bar. i had one on the ranger and really like it.

next on the list is exhuast.. Roush has an amazing sounding exhaust for these trucks, so i'm waiting to see if www.ModBargains.com (Alon) can deal Roush stuff. i'm still a few weeks away from doing the exhaust and told Alon i'm in no rush, so hopefully he can get their lineup.

after that... possibly a programmer with some tunes, and then that's it for performance.

as for appearance stuff.... as i said in my last post, i'm leaning towards doing a black westin bull bar with the stainless skid plate... if i got that, i'd throw some matching KC's on it. the tail lights will either be replaced with the darker Harley Davidson taillights, or they'll be night shaded. and then i'm also going to look into getting a set of wheels from Alon at some point over the summer.... then that'll probably be it for the exterior. near the end of summer (probably in the fall actually) i'm going to get some oem leather seat covers and install heating mechanisms while i've got the seats ripped apart.

Nice headlights. That's a flashy grill you got, would look cool black to match the headlights. Nice truck.

yeah a few guys that black out their entire trucks go for the black FX2 grills available for F150's. i did a black grill on my Ranger, so i figured i'd switch it up this time around

 

truck looks good. now its time for chrome and black emblems :)

 

looks good, it would look even better with some nice aggressive tires and wider rims.

 

they're already on their way... i was hoping they'd be here today, but no luck. hopefully they'll be here tomorrow!

unfortunately it just had tires put on last July... they only have about 8,000 miles on them and still look nearly good as new. i want to run some 20's on 35's, but couldn't afford to do everything at once. more than likely, ill be getting some 17 inch rims to use with my tires i have now... when the time comes again to get new tires, ill get something a bit more agressive looking, but keep the 17s.
