Bought all my parts through honda. I dont believe you can get one for your bike as i believe its the moveable window. I love the interceptors.

Perfect.. I'm needing something for mine. The PO cut the windshield down and painted it black.. Doesn't work for me as I'm tall. Yea the interceptor is nice, I was riding a 250 last year and got this one this year.... Much more kick in the pants, but of course I go and hurt my wrist Tuesday, so now I can't even ride...

My 06 Hayabusa. I bought it new Jan. 06. Yosh exhaust, Power commander, K&N two teeth up on the rear. Has 24,000 on it now. had 10 rear tires and 6 fronts. My third sport bike, knock on wood I have never dropped it. Only marks are stone chips from riding with other stone throwers. And if you look close were the fairing bubbles out there is almost a hole in it from dragging, Kickstand drags on the other side. Its now raised in the rear from stock and hasnt drug since.

no additives except fuel stabilizer, radar goes on the handle bar.

Interceptor... Cafe bikes are awesome!

If I couldn't buy a dual sport, a Cafe bike would come home with me.

I actually know a guy that builds them. He and his friend have some sweet project Cafe racers going right now. I sold two old Kawasaki magnesium alloy wheels to him, and they are Enkei's. (I've got all kinds of crap, useful and not so useful, laying around here. Today, I almost died tripping over some of it.)

Also... I know of a guy with a Husqvarna CR390 in pieces, waiting to be put back together and revived... I want to ride that bike. 390cc, two stroke. Light switch power band... one moment, cruising along nice... twitch the throttle and that front tire should come right off the ground as it hits that sweet spot. I've tried to get him to sell it to me, but he's quite attached to it, lol. Maybe I'll just have to drag it home and rebuild it for him. I've been waiting the last 10 years for him to rebuild the dang thing...

I'm screwed. Off to CL to find a motorcycle to do stupid stuff on...

Super moto's ftw. I love em, but have noticed riding the moto vs the crocky you do not get nearly the looks from the ladies on the supermoto as you do on a street bike.

Do what I do and sell the on road 2 wheeled stuff and buy a boat. Ladies love them some boats. hahahaha

Oh and Andy, as I said towards the beginning of the thread, Cafe's are awesome and yours is just sexy. You should have sold it to me. :-P

Find a boat with a Mercury Blackmax XR-2 or a 'Tower of Power' inline six... unbeatable performance and decent reliability. Yes, Mercs can be hard to start and tend to use a lot of fuel (especially 'Tower of Power' models) but good God, when they run, they run.

Our boat has a 150 XR-2, and even with it being nearly overloaded with our entire immediate family of four on it, and the dog, a cooler full of snacks and drinks, and all of our fishing gear... it still wanted to go faster than 45 mph. Mama was freaking out, so obviously, captain pops slowed the boat down I suspect we could've hit 55-60 in the boat loaded up like that. People don't bother to think about racing us in our old boat. They know better, lol.

She'll be getting fixed this spring. I want to go speeding around the lakes this season at least a couple times.

Sure if you want to be technical about it. haha

One of the boats I regret getting rid of was my 1971, 17ft Tahiti with Johnson 140 v4 on the back. :-( I put a 20 gal fuel cell under the bow just to try and keep the front end down as much as I could. That thing had no problem getting to 75+

Oh yeah... them old Johnson and Evinrude outboards were excellent as well.

I really wonder if a new Merc, Evinrude E-Tec, or whatever else there is can even hold a candle to the old school outboards. I think not... maybe this season I will get a chance to race someone else and their fancy new 150 hp boat...

Plus you just can't beat the sound of an old boat motor... Merc's sound particularly mean while they are idling... that nice burble/pop sound... Oh, and if you run one of these Merc's off of the garden hose (you know, flushing the cooling system at idle) be sure to wear ear muffs if you are going to be standing to the rear of the boat... they are wicked loud...

Oh, I've been meaning to ask... does anyone know someone with a 150+ hp outboard sitting around needing a home? I want to swap one into my VW... Yep, premix would then be required...

Can you imagine how much fun that would be? Especially with an old Evinrude V8 two smoker? People would crap their pants as you idle up to the stop light... nothing sounds like a big two stroke engine. And yes, lots of fab work and a custom bell housing would be necessary to bolt a boat motor in.

That would be a very entertaining build. Would be so awesome. Yea they sound awesome. Like nothing else. Don't know to much about the newer outboards. Haven't really come across many. :-/ I'm sure they are defiantly quieter. haha I would bet a lot slower too. 4 stroke. yuck haha jk. Man we need to stop. This is making me sad. :-( lol
Almost put a pic up but that is a super thread jack. I already feel bad.
