Built my buddy a rear bumper

Myself and 2 buddies built my buddy a rear bumper for his pre-runner ranger. Took us about 4 hours to cut the bed, make the tire mounting spot and the rear tube bumper. whatcha think?

thanks... he lives out in the country as you can tell and he only takes that truck rallying or to work which he can see it out front at all times...

Looks pretty good, but not very practical if you use your bed. I'd find a way to lock the wheels in there.

he did it into the bed like that because it's his rally truck... He definitely uses his truck!! He has a trailer for hauling his dirtbikes and the tires into the bed like that made his handling improve.

If possible, I'd move the tires back up against the tube for the carrier so as to get more weight leverage over the already light rear-end.

A piece of flat strap curved to the tire on a hinge then a place to lock it to the rear would look good and clean
