I hope for your sake you have security cameras. Someone did something similar to that to my brother's car at the railroad, damn cameras only face the tracks, so he got screwed. Hopefully you have better luck. That just sux, sorry it happened to you.

hey justin that sucks man wow. my buddies little bro backed into me and i had a dent like that but only on under the tindow on the cab and it was 2100 to fix the damage just for the heads up! sorry man that sucks... with your SL it had to have been a truck of some kind to put a dent that high on the truck... if that narrows the possibilites down :/

get the tail light... find out what kind of truck it came from.. and check every day all over the parking lot for that kind of truck.. then look for damage on the vehicle if you find a simliar truck..

250 is a great deductible. At least it's not 1000, even 500 would be awful. But yea, if you filed a police report, they should be able to tell what kind of truck it came from based on what it's made of. Assuming that CSI watching isn't steering me wrong, haha.

You should be able to tell what kind of truck it came off just from the design if it's stock. Shouldn't be that hard. I'm sure they have a nice dent in there truck, too.

Thats how it is here too. Someone breaks into your house or vehicle, dont expect the police to really do anything about it, but give you a pointless piece of paper to make ya sleep better at night.
