recent pic of the truck and a new mod

Got the intake today and it is a tight fit but it works didnt need to cut or nothing. i know i left the airbox there but i got lazy haha and there is my bedlinered rocker panels

P.S. if you are gonna bash on my intake then plz dont post thanks

thanks im happy with it. my exhaust sounds a little different with the intake but it sounds nice

Is that one of those Spectre make your own intake kits? Turned out pretty good, much better than dryer vent tube haha

It was off ebay for 70 bucks free shipping and it is great im not gonna complain and it fits perfectly. so far i've noticed a little mpg gain

didnt think about that. do those keep heat out or just keep crap from getting in?

Nice, maybe you could fab some sort of box around it to keep cooler air going in. I have to search a little, but someone on here made one out of plexiglass.

yea i thought about making a heat shield box but dont know where id mount it but yea it's a possibility

wydopnthrtl made the plexiglass filter box but I cant find the thread. I would definitely suggest getting a skin or new filter to keep contaminates from getting in. Thats one of those like wire mesh ones right?

I would ditch that filter or get a filter skin. Those mesh ones are crap. (Im not trying to bash)

looks good. ya i think you can buy just a K&N cone that would fit that, or get a filter skin. If i were you id wait till that one got dirty and replace it with a K&N
