Couple easy trail pics and my brand new $30 hi-lift!

Just went over to check an area out, see what was over there. Wasn't a thing that was exciting. Snapped a couple pics.

Picked up this brand new (i have the instructions and decals that were still on it) from a friend of a friend for $30!

I think I'm going to mount it right there on the tailgate.

...and no, thats not bird crap, wheel polish

Nice find on the hi-lift. I wouldn't mount it on the tailgate though. Why not the bedside?

I dont really like it on the bedside, it's either tailgate or the front of the tool box. Huge downside to the gate is lack of ease for loading things...

I'd put it on the tool box. I would mount it on the tailgate.

x2 mount the high lift on the tool box. You will still have function the tailgate and not have to move it around if you need to load something in the bed.

also if you mount it on the tailgate it is impossible to get a nut on the backside of the mount. so my vote is on the toolbox like i showed you before. nice find as well. to bad it wasnt the all cast one or the red one

Carriage bolts are your friend!

But i think the tailgate idear is out the window, for lacking in "load-a-bility"
