Have you thought about shaving the stock fuel door? Any pics of the inside of the bed w/ the cell?
Oh by the way I still love your truck, but you knew that. |
That would be cool to get rid of the stock fuel door

That is a clean cut. I am thinking that you used a plasma cutter. How did you line it up and get such a clean cut.
|
i used a die grinder/angle grinder to cut them
|
Plasma would leave a jagged edge you can get a very clean cut with a diegrinder just go slow and take your time
|
Looks like you did a really good job.
IMO the cuts are way to big. Maybe when you get 40's it will look better. |

It wasn't just a diegrinder, had to sand it to make it not rough.
I was sneezing crap up for a couple days |

it looks so smoooooth because he has that plastic molding on there, which is what I'm gonna ask about..
did you just cut it? or did you roll it over too? I bent/rolled mine in and couldn't quite fit the stripping on there.. either way.. it looks good! is a D60 front in the works? 40s+v8+d44? or are you just going to upgrade the 44? |
It's a very clean cut, but it's just not my thing.
|
Good work as usual, I expected nothing less. The cut looks like a good size and has good shape. The only thing is I think it looks kind of goofy since your front fenders aren't cut yet, after you do them I'm sure it'll look much better.
