bedsides look great Zack.

how much of the trim did you use out of that roll? I am trying to figure out if I am going to need 2 rolls or not.

Dangerranger01 01-31-2009 07:47 PM

Whats the benefits of putting a fuel cell in?

i had to because my D60 has a centered pumpkin which made the driveshaft rub the tank.

Trigger01 01-31-2009 07:54 PM

Have you thought about shaving the stock fuel door? Any pics of the inside of the bed w/ the cell?

Oh by the way I still love your truck, but you knew that.

ford rules 01-31-2009 07:54 PM

That would be cool to get rid of the stock fuel door

not really because i dont want to repaint the whole bedside. sonic blue is 185 a pint or something crazy like that.

ford rules 01-31-2009 08:00 PM

Get me the paint code and i can get you a pint from my brothers work then we can trade for that JJ.

JoshK 01-31-2009 08:01 PM

few months ago i did. not any more. i have a f150 now.

TrucknGolf 01-31-2009 08:06 PM

That is a clean cut. I am thinking that you used a plasma cutter. How did you line it up and get such a clean cut.

zabeard 01-31-2009 08:09 PM

i used a die grinder/angle grinder to cut them

ford rules 01-31-2009 08:12 PM

Plasma would leave a jagged edge you can get a very clean cut with a diegrinder just go slow and take your time

Lord Of War 01-31-2009 08:21 PM

Looks like you did a really good job.

IMO the cuts are way to big. Maybe when you get 40's it will look better.

Yea i was wondering how you could get such a clean cut with a plasma

JoshK 01-31-2009 08:25 PM

It wasn't just a diegrinder, had to sand it to make it not rough.

I was sneezing crap up for a couple days

Double.

99ranger4x4 01-31-2009 08:30 PM

it looks so smoooooth because he has that plastic molding on there, which is what I'm gonna ask about..

did you just cut it? or did you roll it over too? I bent/rolled mine in and couldn't quite fit the stripping on there..

either way.. it looks good!
is a D60 front in the works? 40s+v8+d44? or are you just going to upgrade the 44?

Jimmeh 01-31-2009 08:35 PM

It's a very clean cut, but it's just not my thing.

korey89 01-31-2009 08:44 PM

Good work as usual, I expected nothing less. The cut looks like a good size and has good shape. The only thing is I think it looks kind of goofy since your front fenders aren't cut yet, after you do them I'm sure it'll look much better.
