Icon10 Deal of the century 1 customer 0 dealership!

Well you see I went to the chevy dealership to look at a 91 regcab 2.3/5spd.....well lets just say it had issues. they happened to have a 98 supcab/4dr 3.0/5spd 205k miles very clean minus some paint fade and a little hail damage. Salesman asked what I was looking to spend I said 2k. He went to go check if he could sell it for that. Came back saying they need 2400. I said 2200 was the max. It took two more visits with the manager and the last time he came out to me and I explained I wouldn't be heartbroken if they couldn't sell it too me. he tried to get me to go up 150 more and I said no. He walked back in and shortly after the salesman came out and said sold. Both trucks where on the back lot waiting to go to auction.

just had the quicklane check it out. No leaks and doesn't need any work done. Only thing wrong is one of the sway bar links is broken

nada's suggested retail value is 4900!! It runs great needs very minor TLC, but its clean for a 13 year old truck! I am going to sell the topper on it so I will end up gaining a little cash back.

I feel like I stole this truck lol.

Plan is for a 4/5, wheels and I am going to start collecting 01-03 edge parts. Probably put it in for paint later this year or beginning of next year. For now it's just a DD.

Nope I sold the GMC and bought this for less then I sold the GMC for. I'm not going to sell it though I bought it to be a dd/cruiser.

That'll be the long term goal. If this motor craps i'll get a cheap replacement more then likely. I wont be able to tear into this truck for another year or two. I want to be into my career with a house before I do that so I actually have a garage to use lol.

They didn't lol I think the cap makes it look long. I'm going to paint it all the current red.

Then you better give me that 10 bucks. I haven't bought/sold that many. I'd still have the bmw, but my buddy needed a car bad so I sold it to him. Otherwise I have only sold the mustang and got the gmc in trade. Sold it and bought a ranger like I wanted in the first place.

I would of considered it too lol oh well you snooze you loose haha.

On another note I should have most of the 01-03 edge swap in next week. I scored the core support and edge grille for just shy of 100 bucks shipped to my house! and I already have heads/corners. Now I just need a edge hood and front bumper! lol

Haha I was surprised at how nice the interior is considering the miles on the truck.
