Back From Iraq

Well, I haven't been on here in about a year. I just got back from Iraq 6 weeks ago. My unit was sent to the Iranian border to hinder weapons smuggling.

Anyways, I sold the ranger to my father before I deployed. We just got done taking the lift off a couple weeks ago when I was home on leave. And while I was home I bought a brand new car.

Its a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Turbo
Sport Red Tintcoat with a G85 Locker

As it sits right now, it has a K04 twin scroll turbo, pushing 15 PSI. Stock its pushing 261 WTQ at 5300 RPMs and 263 WTQ at 2000 RPMs. By Thursday (hopefully my parts will get in sooner) I'll be pushing 25 PSI and hitting 345 WHP and 384 WTQ. Brembo brakes, stock. Recaro racing seats, stock. Debadged the truck. And the lowering springs go on next weekend.

Stock it ran a 13.89 ET @ 103.7 MPH
Shooting for mid 12's

Anyways, enough talking. onto the pics:

We got a few guys in Cincy with those. It's really easy to get into the 12's.

Welcome back man. Glad you made it home safely. Thanks for serving.

I love those Cobalt Turbocharged SS's. I think they are one of the best buys on the market right now. Best bang for the buck. Keep us updated on it.

Glad you got back safe! Do you have any pictures of your truck that you'd be willing to post(like right before you deployed)? I was looking for pictures of it recently and couldn't find any.
