The Dodge.

I've mentioned it a couple of times, but haven't posted pictures. I actually just got it. It runs and drives good, but needs a little bit of work. It's the tow pig and the work truck for now until it's paid for, then I might replace it with something different.

I just fixed the gas tank today because I could only fill it half way, and that was starting to get expensive. The dealer I bought it from was supposed to fix it, but they are too busy I guess, so I was bored today, and it only cost $20 to fix it myself, plus about 5 minutes. Anyway, here are the pictures:

This was in the truck to fill it up before:

It has about 144,000 miles, the 318 V8, and a 5 speed manual. The next thing getting fixed is the four wheel drive, and then after that, new tires. Before that though, I plan on doing a tune up and and oil change the week after next, as that's pay day week. Now the Ranger can get finished.

It will be. I love working on V8's, and this one is super easy to get around in because it's small compared to the engine bay. I don't plan on doing a whole lot. Maybe upgrading to 33's, as it's got 30's on it now, and it's begging for a new custom bumper.

On Dodges and Chevys, the center disconnect for the front axle likes to fail. You should look into a posi lock: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

Thanks. That's actually my problem, but I haven't been too concerned about getting it fixed because winter's pretty much over, and like I said, it's mainly the work truck, so I don't have any major plans for it. But this summer I'll be replacing that.

Truck looks good to me. What are the plans for the Ranger.

Hopefully by the end of this summer I'll have the lift, tires, and wheels. I want it finished by next summer, and the finished product will be the lift, tires, wheels, visor (already on), brush guard/custom bumper, ARE MX Series Topper, Cobra CB, step bars, clear head lamps, clear corners (have the corners, waiting on the funds for the head lamps), blacked out tails, and if the automatic dies before then, a 5 speed manual with a manual T case. I like it the way it is, but it just needs all that to be exactly the way I want it.

I also decided that for the Dodge, it needs a tool box bad. The only thing I hate about single cabs is the lack of room inside for anything more then two people, a couple of drinks or snacks, and an extra set of clothing. I priced out some tool boxes last weekend, but again, I need the money before I can start doing anything :).
