prepping for the hella lights
picked this up at the JY a few weeks ago. along with a couple fog light/defrost switches. it came out of a 2002 explorer sport (if i remember correctly). it had the wiper controls where the 12v outlet is (red ring, ipod tuner), so i took that off and dremeled the plastic down on the backside of it so that the female reciever of the 12v could fit onto the male side, i then dremeled the other fog light switch so that it could fit where the defrost switch would go (be watching for a PM buggman, im gonna need one of your kits :P)
next i removed the cig lighter that came with it, it was dirty and all rusted up from sitting in the weather. replaced it with the one from my bezel. i <3 these vents cuz it actually has a cutoff on them instead of just the side to side movement.
i wanted to use this bezel because it was already black, but it will need some touchup on the paint in a few places but since i already have the sand paper and paint (was gonna paint mine before i found this one) it'll be a breeze.
but chyea, all this was because i just bought some hellas from bird76mojo :D
i also started prepping my valence so it can fit the J style tow hooks i acquired from joshtank last week! pictures for that to come later
