lol, its a 45 minute drive and way out of my way. If you dont belive it you can go on ford.ca and build one, the FX4 is now an add on to the sport model but not any different than it was last year except for the rsc/tc, rear disks and painted flares.

I wondered about that and looked under a truck. There were no wires or hydraulic lines going to it, so I checked the shop manual - not shown and not mentioned.

The Ford parts system calls it a 'damper' so my guess is it's a late program add to address an NVH issue.

Could it be something similar to an Anti-Moan bracket for the caliper similar to the 95-04 Mustang rear setup?
