F150 auto dim mirror

Got this installed yesterday and so far its working great auto dim mirror out of a 2010 F150, 3 wire hook up and in my opinion looks a lot better then the expo auto dims, best part is it was $20!

There are two versions of the Gen 2 Explorer Autolamps/Autodim mirror. The earlier mirror is bulkier than the later version. Gen 2's Ex 4-doors are 95~2001 but I don't know the changeover date for the two mirrors

ya I have one of the late model expo ones in my girls 03 explorer and it doesn't seem to work as well as this one. now I am just on the look out for a good deal on one with the LCD screen in it so I can hook up a backup cam.

I have the 2010 F150 mirrors in both of my Rangers that have the reverse camera screen built right into them so you can see the camera when you back up.

Ya had them siting for the last few months and finally got tires for them. mine were a lot of work to sand paint and re-polish. when I got them they were pitted and corroded like crazy but with some elbow grease they look great now!

Thanks man, under flex the rears rub some so I am still debating the lift mainly because if I lift it I can un-crank the bars some and go to the 1.5 in block in the rear, basically up 3 down 1-1.5 and it should have a good stance and have more room for the tires.
