Finally......

I am finally getting rid of this damn square box that is called a fleetside bed! I should have picked up the steppie last night, but my taillights had some wiring issues, and were sent back to the manufacturer. Thank God they are being fixed under their lifetime warranty. Anyways, here are some pics!

First coat of primer:

Sanded out, and sealed up! Still has some minor sand scratches, but all this will have to be sanded before paint anyways.

Hoping to get the tails back Monday or Tuesday, then it's up to the shop to get the bed.

Looks good but I was wondering if you are going to take the Ford logo off of the tailgate.

it'll stay in the grey sealer until i'm ready to paint. been in sealer for the past 7 years, so another year or so won't bother me.

I didn't do the work on this. I started to, but ran out of time. JB & L Customs (Hampstead. NC) did the work. May even paint my truck next year if things work out right.
