Never seen this finished thread, looks sick.

I would love that thing for the winter and at the farm/hunting, but I would probably swap a Cummins or small CAT-Cx. Either way, need more pics and a video!

That is killer! How did you do the lift? Did you just get new springs/shakle mounts or something else?

other axle is sitting out back..along with 11 tires and wheels haha

lift was just 8 blocks welded to the frame..and just dropped shackles..so its pretty much just drop brackets..

then for the front we got an extra set of springs just like the rear..and bolted them up...

I might have missed it, but where did you score this?

I saw a bunch (dual axle) for sale on another forum I'm on. A lot of people build those trucks up for mudding down here.

They do great and already have 2.5 tons, all you really have to do is bob the frame, sell the 2nd axle, clean it up, put a little lift and tires/wheels.

I am wanting to do it as a project...

What did you do for lift, or rather how did you acomplish it?

Only problem is they are so heavy, I was hanging out this past weekend with a guy we ride with, he has one. It does well, but once it's stuck...it's stuck!
