Finally got some round tires.
Well the LTBs road horrible, and the BFG A/Ts sucked off road and wouldn't stay balanced. I got tires of swaping tires out every time I wanted to go play so I decided to get one good set of tires.
They are the Goodyear MT/R Kevlars in a 33/12.50-15.

As far as sucking off road, I may have spoiled myself with the Baja Claws and Swampers. But the BFGs didn't ride good at all, they took a lot of weight to balance, and they wouldn't stay balanced. I even glued the weights on because I thought maybe I was slinging them off. Nope within a couple months they were out again. One of my BFGs took 16oz of weight I think it was. The most that one of the Goodyears took was 5oz and the rest were around 2 or 3.
I should add, the only thing the BFG Mall Terrains had going for them was traction in sand.

The BFG all terrains suck off road in anything wet really. They are good in sand because they don't dig. In mud they turn to slicks instantly.
People like them because they look cool I think, and they last a long time. Probably not a bad all terrain if you just occasionally run gravel roads or dry dirt roads. Well I hear they work good in snow I guess.

I cant run a mud terrain, I would never get my money's worth out of them, they'd wear down too fast. I don't offroad hardly at all (not that i dont want to, i dont know where to). I drive my truck everyday back and forth to work and on weekends fsihing...
Mud Terrains would probably wear out entirely too fast for my likings and i cant afford to go buy a set every 10 months or so

These new MTRs do better in rain than my BFG All Terrains I had on my Ranger.

Modern mud terrains have come a long way in the last decade even. Granted I don't have too many miles on my MTRs, I can say that after ~4000 miles there is no discernable wear to the tread. Even the edges of the tread blocks are still sharp and well defined. I drive my truck daily, and am averaging about 22,000 miles a year. Make no mistake, any mud terrain from a well known manufacturer now has siping and computer aided tread design to make them quiet and long wearing while giving superior off road traction over good, old-fashioned all terrains like the BFG. Look at all the guys on here running the KM2s daily with great results.

agree my muds on my truck i got them with around 5-7/32s on them i put 25-30k on them b4 they have 1/32 left and those were mud rovers and there a pretty soft compound i think you could easly get 50k out of a set of muds now a days
