I borrowed some from the 'rents on this build. I'm about $600 deep with them.

Once that's payed back then more progress will be made..

from that last poser shot, i took some quick measurements and concluded i have ~10" of travel in the rear (per side, idk how people measure and get 24"..unless they add the sides together? and say 24" rear travel) and the front i have ~15"

i REALLY wish i wasn't lazy and had got my real camera, this pic could have made it into a magazine lol, hopefully it doesnt snow and get all ****ty tonight and tomorrow, I'll go back and try to recreate it

and yea, i hold my argument about leaves and flexing.. Stock springs f/r is the best part, i haven't dropped big money on better springs yet.

damn your truck is nice thanks too for sharing you setup. im sure one day mine will be straight axled i figured, if you do it yourself and leaf spring it, it will be cheaper than a rcd lift and much more practicle for offroading... how muc did you spend too if you dont mind me asking...

about what the RCD kit costs lol. well maybe closer to 3,000.

BUT, I'm no where near done, i still need to build the rear axle and i want a selectable locker which is 7-800 alone, then a front drive shaft, then new springs.. it all adds up QUICK.

nope those are the 3/8" plate ones i have for now, the shackles aren't really flexed, they look like they are still inline with the frame
