Ordered new headlights. I'm going to clean the stockers up still though, but the kit to do that tonight. Light out put is horrible right now at night.

If I remember correctly they changed the camshaft and valve timing points, higher compression, pcm was more aggressively tuned, larger throttle body, upper intake manifold was extrude honed, lower Intake manifold was enlarged, SVT clutch, a water to oil oil cooler, a radiator with a thicker core for better cooling, air filter and intake, lighter flywheel, and quasi-dual exhuast, rev limited was increased as well. Not to mention all the exterior and interior changes. These were actually pretty sweet cars, and the 3rd installation into the SVT family, following the lightning and the Cobra, then the focus following shortly later on. SVT was off the map for a little while and then the GT500 came out, then the raptor.

Like matt said below. Upgraded motor/trans. Suspension and interior/exterior. Had the contour continued past 2000 it probably would of had some kind of forced induction too. SVT didn't start doing that till 2003 with the cobra. The stock 2.5L V6 only had 170hp. here is a link you can check out. This will tell you everything you need to know.

No drop for now. Roads are to rough here and they have over sides speed bumps. Maybe when it's not my dd. Not a big fan of the eye lids either. Once I get my new headlights in I am going to open up the stockers and paint the inside black. Like the one I am going to add to show you

That is correct.

BTW found out something cool. I actually have a really rare version of the SVT contour. Only 386 were equipped like mine in 2000!!

Yeah I figured as much. It rides great as it is. I would consider dropping it if it's not a DD, but like you said. Better off as it is.
