Finally put something on the 07 lol

Well its been sitting on the 98 while its been waiting to sell I didnt want to drive around with a green lid on a bright blue truck forever so i finally got the time to take it down and get painted. Got a deal through one of the body shops that fixes all of our cars at work so I got it painted for the cost of paint since I party and good friends with the body shop guys.

Im definitely glad i decided to put this on my 07 then let it go with my 98 before it gets sold.

Looks good Mark.

I think you should at least get those chrome wheel skins for those steel wheels, and then like... chrome grilla nd chrome bumpers. That wouldnt really count as modding it right? Lol.

Ive heard those chrome wheel skins suck and just pop right off even though I know with chrome wheels from the factory that's all they are but aftermarket ones are not that great. Plus I like the painted steel wheels as I dont have to keep up with the chrome and worry about keeping them always clean so they look decent unlike these they don't show brake dust or make it really obvious.

I could of had a chrome rear bumper after I got rear ended as it was even cheaper than the painted bumper but I didn't want to just have that not do anything in the front for some time as it would look odd.

I plan on a chrome grill, not sure on a painted bumper on the bottom though, looks pretty expensive to just get that bumper then paint plus I don't like paint as it would chip from rocks then eventually rust and look like crap from the salt from winters they use up here compared to down there.

The black bumper and grill have grown on me even though i do agree the chrome grill and painted bumper looks alot cleaner together I feel like my truck is a basic xl at times lol. It was an appearance option to get the chrome grill and painted bumpers in 07 then in 08 made it standard on the xlt's I was pretty pissed when I learned that.

I was shocked when you sent me the text! lol Looks good, hopefully that was enough to get you started modding again.... you know you want to lol I actually think the black bumpers look good, even the grill and front end looks good. just get some black 17's or 18's and murder it.
