Got the Superlift finished tonight...

Finally finished up the lift tonight. Here's a couple not-so-good night pics!
The wheels/tires are temporary. The tires are the original BFG's off my truck and the wheels are new. They are the setup for my bro-in-laws lifted XJ. I'm going to drop the truck off for an alignment tomorrow, and I get my new tires on Saturday morning. I was going to go with BFG A/T's again but found out they're backordered and they don't expect any production for at least 60 days.
I'll get some better pics up if I get everything ready on the weekend!
Most of the install went okay... but there were quite a few issues that came up. No time to post them now, gotta get to bed!

dam that thing is pretty high up there... might just look high because of the small tires but either way looks good man. cant wait to see it with the new tires and wheels.

Thanks guys... yeah the small tires probably have a lot to do with it looking higher. With those tires I've got about 39" to the bottom of the flare, front and rear.

shouldn't you get the tires first before you get the alignment? anyways, it looks really good.

Your truck looks perfect in those pictures. I love black w/DSG Fx4 Lvl 2's.

I'd love to have something like that for a DD

The tires in the pics are 31s. I'll have my 33s on Saturday morning so I'll get some new pics up sometime after then! I don't have the truck here with me, it's at the shop ready for an alignment or I'd get some today!

Tires won't affect the alignment... I wanted to get it done first on the old tires instead of brand new ones as the shop is 30-40km away that I took it to!

My truck will be pretty close to Biltrite Bullies'! I've had this planned out for quite a while though as well, it just kind of turned out that way. It was originally going to be a BL but when I stumbled upon this Superlift for sale so cheap I changed it up. There are still quite a few differences though.. I have black headlights, painted DSG flares and my wheels will be 15X10's by the end of the weekend!

tires DO affect alignment (if they are different sizes), just don't want you to be wasting your money.

How so? I could understand if you were changing to just a different size on the front or just on the back...

no, alignment is not just aligning front and back (the back is always aligned due to a solid axle). Alignment is how... balanced and straight and 'aligned' your tires/wheels are on your truck. If you are aligned for 31's and then going to 33's, you are changing the angle of your control arms; therefore, you are out of alignment, which was set when you were on 31's. But if you've done it already, and you're going to put bigger tires later... you just wasted some money...

No pink headlights, just the camera! I still don't see how larger tires will affect alignment.
Putting larger tires will lift the truck straight up... it won't affect control arm angle.
