Ranger didnt even struggle at all and i found the deep part. LOL
Once again i am very surprised at how great the ranger does. The 4wd rangers put some power to the ground and dont like to slip a tire.

I would love to organize a meet. Between me you and trigger01 we need 2. I am game for durhamtown any sat. or sun. and i got some friends that would definitely come along. I just wish alot more members would come. Last time i tried to organize 1 no one could come. Yall organize it and ill def. try 100% to be there. :bigok:

We need definitely need to have one. I really hated to miss the Union Grove meet back in June, but I had to work and there was no way to get out of it. I'd hate to be the lowest truck there, we need to get some one lower than me and I'll be game.

when was the union grove meet? i live right down the road from there. set up another union grove meet and i will definatly be there and ill bring a couple guys with rangers.

I extended my diff. breathers well above that. Front diff. breather is higher than the battery and rear diff. breather is above the gas door. Im not worried about it.

That's a good idea. How'd you go about doing that?

Cool pics. Looks like a fun place.

Its just the little black hose coming from your diff.
Mine have these little clear plastic caps on them that let air in and out but not water or mud.

Mine have those too. But I was wondering how you extended them up so far?

JakeH05 10-12-2008 08:22 PM

Mine were just really long. I dunno. It might be a FX4 thing. lol

03Shadowbob 10-22-2008 08:29 AM

To extend them just go get 4 feet of 1/4" ID fuel line hose and a few universal vacuum line connectors from Advanced Auto or wherever. Put the connector into the original hose then put the new line on the other end of the connector and run it where you need it then cut the line there than do the same on the other breather tube. I used liquid tape to seal the outside of the lines to the connectors just in case. The front I ran to the black box above drivers side tire. The rear I ran to the fuel filler. The t-case was a little harder to get to but ran it to the same place as the front diff tube. I have yet to get to the tranny breather tube since thereis no room for me to get my hands, much less a clamp and tool in there. I will be able to get the tranny tube on after I get the lift on tomorrow.
