Trailer was full to the top with wood. Went 20 miles.

Lazler 10-26-2009 01:12 PM

damn looks like she handled that great.. not sagging that much at all!

Crackerstein 10-26-2009 01:13 PM

The weight was very well distributed throughout the trailer, but she did great!

The trailer used to be a pop-up camper.

Now all i need to do is get good at backing the trailer.

Lazler 10-26-2009 05:48 PM

backing up is easy lol

Crackerstein 10-26-2009 05:56 PM

That's cheating. What do you do when you have a 2200lb trailer with 2000-4000lbs. of vehicle on it? I wanna watch you push that.

x2. I like hauling my Landscaping trailer around.

Melt 10-26-2009 09:26 PM

nice setup .... its probably hard to back cause your trailer is so much lower than your truck so its hard to see is it not?

anyways, chalk up another guy who likes hauling his trailer .... although i dont much care for the drop in gas mileage lol

Longer the trailer the easier it is to control backing up lol

tell me about it! i get almost 20mpg with just the truck, with my 6x10 box trailer i get somewhere around 12mpg. might as well get a 351 bronco and have more power to pass with. Attachment 132172

old boat trailers make a good base for a small utility trailer.

dixie_boysles 10-29-2009 09:45 AM

ive became pretty good at backing up a trailer since i back a boat into the water all the time. but you kinda have to at a boat ramp, or you end up looking like an idiot, especailly at tourny time and you have alot of other guys wanting to put their boats in! Luckily ive never looked like the idiot! The only thing i cant do is use my mirrors to back them up. Sara's daddy can like a charm, i cant, it throws me off. i have to be able to see the trailer! so when we take his f150 to pull the boat; he has a fiberglass bed cover that blocks my view and i cant see to back the trailer up, i cnat use his truck to do this! with the Ranger, i can do it like nobody's business!

trailers are easy, try backing up a 4-wheeled farm wagon sometime.
