I took a picture from the hotel bedroom window, that's all the cop did for 3 hours.

something's not right about that picture... i don't know how your law enforcement is down there... but your meter maids are called police officers, where as up here we call them women... so he might be something like that... look at the light bar on the roof, kinda pidly to see an actual cop using it...

Yes, because the picture HE took from the window in HIS room of a Ranger that clearly says POLICE and DIAL 911 is a rent-a-cop.

Seriously dude?

I bet it has strobes in the grille, headlights, and taillights, too.

He is a cop with a vest and gun, everyday there was a cop outside just watching the crosswalk and the ferry docking each morning.
This is the Nj side of the hudson river crossing, the other side is NYC.

My point was he probably isn't the guy that will show up to your house if you call 911, he could be the guy who goes to elementry schools to teach kids about who the police are... Yes he is a cop, but is in more of a community role...

He is probably working off duty. Cops around here make $40-$50 an hour working off duty jobs such as security for construction areas and businesses. He is probably working an off duty position, hence the bright vest. At least aroudn here that is what they do in bright vests and stand around or sit for hours on end.

so no one better even think of buying a quarter pounder with cheese and large fries if you're in his neighborhood. You have all been warned.

Exactly, they do the same at my girlfriends church downtown. Its a little sketchy so at night a cop just sits in the parking lot until everyone leaves. 50 bucks an hour to sit in a car, heck ya.
