YAY! We're like brothers now!

Interior shots? Do you got the full length console, or just the halfy?

I loaded a ton of firewood in mine this weekend, and it drove great. I also towed a car on an 18 foot car hauler a while back, and it towed pretty good too.

Not sure about the tranny cooler, but mine does fine. Not sure if it's factory or not, but I don't seem to have any over heating issues.

Oh, and I have been getting 16 MPG's with mine lately, but I've also been kinda hard on it, and hauling a **** load, as well as warming it up every morning. I normally get 18-20.

huh, good to know.

its got the fold down console, but its 2 bucket seats and the middle seat is separate so i'm thinking about making a JY run and trying to find a full length one.. I would assume it would just bolt up.. in theory? I wanted the full length one but It was rare to find them unless it was an LT.

Interior is tan cloth, today was hectic.. I'll get pics of the truck this weekend maybe, with the ranger possibly.

Do you have a manual shift or a button push transfer case? If you got the manual shift, then you won't be able to fit a full length, unfortunately. Already tried, lol.

But yes, it's just bolt in. I believe the bolts for that seat are 17mm. I took mine out for a custom built center console.

If you can get a full length, keep me in mind if you want to sell the one you got.

i wanted a manual t-case too.. i have the electric one. kinda annoying for low range, i think you have to be in neutral with your foot on the brake, i wouldn't shift to low with it in park or drive. and it makes a pretty loud pop when it shifts into low. someone at work thinks its normal? im hardly ever gonna have the tow rig in low anyways so w/e.

I'll let you know if i get to go jy shopping.. do you have the tan interior?

Dang. Why? Too many granola's complaining, not enough people, or is it a land/owner issue like Katemcy?

We should try and hit it up one day before it closes. I wouldn't mind taking the Red Rocket on some EASY EASY trails...I've been told they got trails you can pass with a 2WD...

yea but you gotta go up a washed out hill or through mud to get to them

I think its a state issue, they want to make it a walk way and a place to put kayaks and **** into the creek.

x2 on the tranny cooler. My g/f's mom's Avalanche just dropped a trans at 80k due to overheating. (Driven by a woman who probably hasn't had the revs past 3k the whole time she's owned it).

its ok, i have a winch. as long as you have tow hooks. There's a rock race Nov 7th, so i may be there for that, and stay in Houston then wheel the 8th.

Something is not right if your truck is stock. The worst average non towing MPG's I have ever seen out of a half ton Chevy with a Gen III small block was 15 and that was a lot of short trips.

Loaded down correctly the truck really won't sag that bad... I pulled mine up the mountains and it pulled pretty damn nice...

I'll go through my records and find which one i ordered.. I got a 28k cooler I think, you can go with a 40k... mine was 150 or less... Will look it up in a bit for ya!

Summit Racin, cooler... pn # FLX-4126 It's actually less than 60 bucks. I personally won't buy it again, it was a PITA to mount, didn't have any mounting tabs, just those black plastic straps that go through the cooler and radiator to 'bolt' it on.

here, found these pix... Didn't squat it too bad at all! And the ranger had a decent amount of gear in the bed of it! the second pic is before we left to come home, i had the truck a lil further back on the trailer (less tongue weight) and i didn't like how it towed that way... felt like it was tryin to lift the truck too much, i suppose i like a lil more weight on the tongue...

i think they're ugly. plus im not lifting my tow rig/dd lol

like i said, if i wasnt spending $400 a month on tool payments i would have got a diesel. but i just cant afford any more right now. its always sooooo easy for someone to sit behind a computer and say "you shoulda got this, or that" but at the end of the day your still driving a ranger and for that im sorry
